Works For Me Wednesday

I suppose from my previous post you can tell how much I love fall. I also wanted a pretty fall centerpiece for our huge coffee table. Typical of me, when I want something, I want it now. Like yesterday. So, I dug out this pedestal bowl my husband bought me a few years ago for Christmas and put it to use.
EB and I went scavenging for leaves and nuts and found some gorgeous ones in our backyard. We brought them inside and let them dry really good on some newspaper (the ground was damp that day) and then tossed them into the bowl for display. They smell heavenly. I figure you could even spritz them with a great fall room spray and they would smell even better.
And it's FREE to make. And I don't have to store it for next year!
I think this will be a fall tradition for us from here on out.

Great idea!! I love anything with the word "free" in it!!
Too cute! I do something similar to this at Christmas, only I put ornament balls in the bowl. I have a bowl just like yours!
As my hubby says.."If it's free it's for me!" I love this...I think I'll take the kids out looking this weekend...or maybe tommorrow afternoon. Thanks!
that is a great idea....
