WFMW- Undeck the Halls...Faster and More Fun!
I'm still suffering from post-holiday brain fry, so I thought I would share with you all how I got my Christmas decorations down in an hour. Yes, an hour. Why not throw an "Undeck the Halls" get-together? Just ask a few good friends over for supper and everyone pitch in to take down Christmas decorations afterwards. We did this at mom's house the other day and we did it at mine tonight. It was such a HUGE help because my dad kept EB entertained while mom and I tackled the job. And I'm thinking, the more people... the faster it gets done. Of course, if you have tons of expensive ornaments and decor that must be put back in every original box it all came in, then I'm sure my suggestion of asking others to help probably just gave you a case of the vapors. I'm just not that picky...and having some help works for me.

LOL!! Love your sense of humor. I'm one of those with the vapors ;-) but we do put away the decorations as a family and make it a fun night (or two) with music, good food, and lots of laughter so that it's not just one person's chore, but another family tradition instead.

Wow, I can't believe you got it all down in an hour. LOL. Got to love Family and friends huh? Ours is still up but I will begin taking things down this week. Hubby just left with his Uncle going to their new job today. I'm not sure when he will be back home. I will have it all boxed up and ready for him to put it in the storage shed when he does get home. Wow, an hour! I'm impressed. I've been avoiding undecking the halls just because I'm not sure I can find all of the pieces of the Advent calendar that seemed to walk away this year. It may be a family manhunt to find it all. Thanks for the suggestion.

That book is fabulous and works for infant to teens, blended families and "average" families. Try to find it online and you'll catch a deal :-)

Some of my ornaments are the super expensive, in their own box kinda things, but thats all my MIL's fault. She keeps buying them for us....drives me nuts!! LOL... Still, I am able to strip the entire tree and pack it all away in 3 hours all by myself... Pretty good if I do say so myself!!
